竹 -バンブー-

竹は日本人にとって非常に身近な素材であることはご存知かと思います。竹で編んだ器や茶道具、花を生けるための竹籠など時代とともにその用途は様々ですが密接な素材であることは間違いありません。
ファッションの業界でも、1900年代にGUCCIが竹を素材に用いたバッグを発表しています。
さて、前置きが長くなりました。今回我々はニットの素材として竹を選びました。軽くて丈夫、吸水性と放湿性に優れ抗菌作用まで備えています。是非袖を通して感じていただきたいですが、肌に触れた時のひんやりとした肌触り。まさに求めていた素材との出会いでした。
竹は絹のような光沢と滑らかさがあります。私たちが目指した艶のある黒を現します。私たちの背を伸ばし、前を向いて更なる繁栄へと導いてくれます。

You may know that bamboo is a very familiar material to the Japanese. Its uses have varied over time, from woven bamboo vessels and tea sets to bamboo baskets for flower arrangements, but there is no doubt that it is a material with which we are intimately familiar.
In the fashion industry, Gucci introduced a bag made of bamboo in the 1900s.
Now, let me preface this long. We chose bamboo as the material for our knitwear this time. Bamboo is lightweight, strong, absorbs and releases moisture, and even has antibacterial properties. I would like you to feel the cool touch of bamboo when you touch it on your skin. This is exactly the kind of material I was looking for.
Bamboo has a silky luster and smoothness. It reveals the glossy black color we were aiming for. It stretches our backs and leads us forward to further prosperity.
